Lynn Kamenitsa received her B.A. from Ohio University and her Ph.D. from Indiana University. Her recent research has focused on womens and other social movements in Germany, Eastern Europe, and the United States. Her current research examines the role of women's policy agencies in industrial democracies. She has undertaken field research with support from the International Research and Exchanges Board (IREX) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). In Women's Studies, she teaches courses on women in contemporary America and research methods. She is on joint appointment with the Department of Political Science.
