Forward, Together Forward

The Women’s Studies Program at Northern Illinois University joins the rest of the university community in welcoming our students back to campus. We grieve for the students who were lost to us. We send our wishes for continued recovery to those who were wounded, as well as expressions of sympathy for those who, like us, have suffered emotional distress. We will never forget February 14, 2008. We mourn, but we are strong!

We appreciate the many calls and emails we have received from current and former colleagues, friends, and students across the country. You have given us comfort and encouragement as we move forward with our work.
