April is...LGBT Awareness Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month! Check out the list of exciting events planned for LGBT Awareness Month. End the silence, stop the violence	The Vagina Monologues ({}) When: Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. Where: Barsema Hall, Barsema Auditorium Cost: $5 for students (with ID) and seniors; $8 for faculty and general public Sponsored by the NIU Women's Rights Alliance 90% of ticket sales will go to benefit Safe Passage Inc., which provides a wide range of services to victims of domestic and sexual violence in the DeKalb County area. 10% of ticket sales will benefit Eve Ensler's VDAY anti-violence campaigns. The Vagina Seminar is Back! Vagina Seminar Part 1 Date: Thurs., April 17 Time: 7pm Location: DuSable 204 Topics will include Safer Sex & STI's, Birth Control, & Female Reproductive Anatomy. Vagina Seminar Part 2 Date: Thurs., April 24 Time: 7pm Location DuSable 204 Topics will include Feminine Product Choices, Menstruation & Coping with PMS/cramps, and Sex Toys. These are free sexual health seminars that focus on the female body and women's health issues. All the things you wanted to know but were afraid to ask.
